Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence: New Form Supply’s Journey and Future

As we mark our 20th anniversary, New Form Supply reflects on two decades of unwavering commitment to excellence, growth, and innovation. From our humble beginnings to becoming a trusted supplier for major federal building projects, including those for the U.S. Navy, FEMA, and various state and local contractors, our journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Previously a transportation engineer for the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Michelle recognized the need for heavy/highway bridge contractors to meet minority goals within federally funded contracts. This insight led us to obtain Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification with the Maine Department of Transportation, leveraging our status as a 100% women-owned business. Through matchmaker events and direct material quoting, we discovered a significant demand for qualified and responsive material suppliers for heavy/highway and bridge contractors. Consequently, we obtained DBE certification in other states and began operating as New Form Supply, DBA.

New Form Supply now offers high-quality site supplies such as precast concrete pipe and structures, water and sewer line materials, and specialty precast products like bridge beams and soundwalls. Our extensive knowledge of construction project management and supply chain management allows us to provide a variety of site materials that contractors can use to meet minority goals on their contracts.

Our mission at New Form Supply is to be the “go-to” material supplier for contractors. Whether it is site supplies for horizontal construction or ICF for vertical construction, we aim to be the supplier of choice. Our core values of integrity, reliability, and innovation have guided us through our journey and continue to drive our future endeavors.

Over the past two decades, New Form Supply has achieved continuous growth and reached several significant milestones. From expanding our product line to entering new markets, we have established ourselves as a leader in the construction supply industry.

New Form Supply has collaborated on various notable projects, including supplying large soundwalls, low voltage cabling, pressure pipe, and several complex bridge beam projects. Our involvement in these high-profile projects underscores our commitment to quality and excellence.

Awards and Recognitions

Over the years, New Form Supply has received numerous awards and recognitions. In 2007, we won the Residential Building Award from NRMCA (National Ready Mixed Concrete Association) for our role in the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Vermont with The McKernon Group. Additionally, we were named New Business of the Year by the Bucksport Chamber of Commerce.

Looking ahead, New Form Supply is poised for further growth and innovation. We are working on process improvements to facilitate our growth in the federal market and anticipate adding another full-time employee in 2025 to sustain this growth.

We are excited about our continued work on the Walk Bridge Project in Norwalk, CT, a multi-year endeavor, and a bridge replacement project in Andover, MA, starting in the spring of 2025. These projects highlight our commitment to improving infrastructure through quality supplies and excellent service.

Celebratory Event

Join us at the SAME Post Boston Annual Contract Opportunities and Small Business Showcase on February 5, 2025, at the Westin-Waltham Hotel. This event is a great opportunity to learn about upcoming contract opportunities from multiple federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC MIDLANT, U.S. Coast Guard, and the VA.
